It was a peaceful experience. Hotel was quirky, exceptional services, and it had lovely location to all beaches in the area. The staff were very amiable and the pool was clean. Restaurant food was OUTSTANDING.
Even though everything was nice, some of the staff were rather noisy.

Off the beaten track, we had a blast fishing and hunting in the breathtaking East Coast landscape. The locals taught us the best spots to reel in big catches, and the scenic views made it an unforgettable experience.
For dads, it would be great to have more kid-friendly activities.

We stayed at this charming, historic hotel for a night after exploring the East Cape from Tauranga. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely balcony to relax on. The old lead light door and elegant chandelier added to the hotel's charm. The Wi-Fi worked great, and the price was affordable. It was the perfect stop for us, and we enjoyed the hot springs as well.
Would recommend this hotel.
